Bushra Fatima Feature English Revised 41

Revised (expanded)
Pleasures of Shopping at Latifabad Unit#8 Bazar

Whenever I am in need of variety of different things and can’t visit different markets because of the shortage of time I always decide to visit 8 Number Market, it satisfies all of my needs at once. whether its crockery shopping, home décor, imitation or gold jewellery, toys, kids clothing stuff, and ofcourse men and women clothing and even fruits.
And yes! how can I forget the most interesting yet the most entertaining part of this Market,
The shopkeepers and the way they deal with their customers is literally the best and often convincing and so my mother is no less she is having an immense lifetime experience of shopping from their whenever she ask for the price of any clothing stuff the shopkeeper tells 10 times increased price than it actually is, but what I think at that time is “uncle: you don’t know my mother! she is even more experienced than you think of her you can’t convince her in your choice of price lol”.
Once I recently went to buy a cooking pot along with my Mother and we visited almost 5 of the shops from 8 Number Market because we were not satisfying from any of them as Mothers are always not trying to look experienced but they actually are experienced and I observed this thing that day, when she asked a shopkeeper about the quality of the (bhagona) that is it stainless steel or not? she was trying to know that iron is mixed in it or not!
The shopkeeper replied: Yes Mam, it’s absolutely pure stainless steel and I bet you, you won’t get this quality in the whole Market.
My mother then asked for a magnet to test the pot.
Then the shopkeeper got a bit nervous because he realized that he can’t make the lady fool.
After a minute he came back along with a magnet and gave that to her.
My mother then touched the magnet to the pot and the magnet got sticked with the pot and I was impressed with my mother like wow, well played Mom! and after that she did the same thing with almost 3 of the shops and for the 4th time we finally got a pure stainless steel from a Crystal Care shop of Crockery and the only fixed price shop there.
Although in the very long time of shopping experiences my mother hasn’t been through a bad experience expect for one time the last one was not bad I would only say it was an (experience). As we all know, not every men is same in the world but there are times when we often get to meet some liar, dishonest and vile person. And unfortunately my mother has gone through this type of experience its about 4 moths ago when my mother went to a bed sheet shop which is located on the main street of unit#8 Bazar and that street have almost 4 shops supplying the same products of bed sheets but it was the bad luck of her that she entered in the shop where a dishonest shopkeeper was about to deal with her, she hasn’t shop for bed sheets from unit# Bazar that is why she had no idea about those shops and their shopkeepers. She picked a sheet and asked for the cost of the sheet.
Shopkeeper replied: It costs rupees 800.
My mother then asked for concession and they made a deal of rupees 600 both were agreed upon the price. My mother asked for the stitching of the sheet. He said yes mam sure look we are having a tailor he will stitch this sheet, give it to me and if u have any other job to do in market u may go and your sheet will be ready in 15 minutes. My mother said okay because so many of shopkeepers deals the customers in same way he did. Because in this way customers manage their time.
Me and my Mother then came back after doing all the shopping we are supposed to do.
My mother asked for the sheet and opened her bag to pay him 50 rupees of stitching, but all of sudden, like out nowhere he replied: which sheet?
Me and my mother looked at eachother with  a whole wondering expression like what?  which sheet? are u serious? We were here before 20minutes and bought a sheet from you and we have even paid you the money. The shopkeeper then came to his reality and talked to us in a very harsh and arrogant way. He said: what’s wrong madam u haven’t buy any sheet from me. You may leave now, don’t waste my time I have so many other customers to deal with we asked the other man who was there when we were buying the sheet and was still there when we came back to pick the sheet. But he was as liar as his boss.
My mother then said: you are lying and you know that very well, God will ask you about it. I’ll see until when u are gonna show this wicked behavior over your customers I am not doing anything God will take the revenge himself.
This was definitely the first and I wish the last worst experience of shopping at unit #8 market.
All the other affairs of shopping at Unit#8 Bazar have been the best.

Although the ratio of honest and good shopkeepers is high than the dishonest ones. They never leave behind the respect element but still they sometimes hypnotize us so we can’t deny of the good quality of the thing. Aunts always do the same thing that, after a long long session of observation and then choosing the best thing out of the stuff they begin to know the prize and then act like what? (itna mehnga! nai bhai nai) and end up buying the stuff in half of the price that the shopkeeper asked for and I really appreciate and already learning these shopping hacks.

Every bit of the Latifabad Kapra Bazar is definitely very unique and attractive in its own way, every shop connects with one another, the shopkeepers spend almost all of the day together they seems like a family and definitely I can see them helping each other too.
The best thing while shopping at Latifabad unit 8, is the samosa and chat houses, and I really enjoy having food there. And the quotation written on the wall of the samosa house narrating (The home where a Educated mother lives, is itself a School or University of humanity) and I am seeing this post from the very beginning and I always found this saying inspirational.

The Latifabad unit 8 Market is one of a kind because it has still all the old traditions that other Markets doesn’t have! Especially if one wants to make a wedding dress of their own choice like I do, so yes you can’t get any better option than this. It can satisfy your pocket and desire at the same time. So what can be better than that.

[[Hyderabad a well known city of Sindh Pakistan, is well known for its culture,  its rituals, its tombs, qilas, bazars, and what not.]] Not relevant focus is wording of shopkeepers.

Shopping is now, not just limited to needs but, it’s now a trend people used to do shopping to pass their  time, to pleasurize their selves it’s no doubt one of the most delightful activity to do, especially for women. Every city has its own famous market where people can get variety of stuff. People of   Hyderabad loves to shop from the kapra market [ if u are making it proper noun, write with Cap, otherwise translate in English] of unit 8. [Latifabad]
Whenever I am in need of variety of different things and can’t visit different markets because of the shortage of time I always decide to go for this market, it satisfies all of my needs at once. whether its crockery shopping, home décor, imitation or gold jewellery [mind spelling], toys for every age of kids, kids clothing stuff, and of course men and women clothing and kind of stuff and what’s not!
And yes! how can I forget the most interesting yet the most entertaining part of this bazar,

The shopkeepers and the way they deal with their customers is literally so perfect, they never leave behind the respect element but still they sometimes hypnotize us so we can’t deny of the good quality of the thing. Aunts always do the same thing that, after a long long session of observing and then choosing the best thing out of the bundles of the almost same stuff they begin to know the prize and then act like what? (itna mehnga! nai bhai nai) and then end up the conversation by buying the stuff in half of the price ask by the shopkeeper. And so I can’t ever stop myself of appreciating them aunties.
While the shopkeepers are no less whenever they see the customer is a young girl or boy or less experienced they always take some extra money on what they are selling because 90% of the young generation feel hesitate while asking for bargaining and I am not appreciating it all, buying stuff in the actual or atleast in a appropriate price is definitely our right, we shouldn’t hesitate.

One more entertaining thing in 8# market are the quotations written on the banners outside of almost every shop, and that’s the most eye catching thing yet sometimes quite funny.
[What are they? write it] Every bit of the kapra bazar is definitely very unique and beautiful in its own way, every of the shop connects with one another, the shopkeepers spend almost all of the day together they seems like a family and definitely we can see them helping each other.
The best thing of shopping at unit 8 is the samosa and chat hoses, As there are 3 of them and every single of them has their own different delicious taste and people of Hyderabad loved it. The chat houses are always full because almost every of the customer visit it after all the shopping done or some visit it before, so the food can be digested while shopping and they can do shopping more actively.
The unit 8 is one of a kind because it has still all the old traditions that other markets doesn’t have!
I always have the best experience to shop  from  there. Especially if one wants to make a wedding dress of their own choice like I do, so yes you can’t get any better option than this. It can satisfy your pocket and desire at the same time. So what can be better than that.
