The early life of Madad Ali Khan KaimKhani was obviously not easy for him to achieve his goals as he dreamt to be a doctor in Army to serve for his country. He was born in Dehli, India in 1942 but his father then migrated to Pakistan at the time of separation along with his family, because he wanted to discern his only son to serve for his own land as being an Army Doctor, and so he did.
When he migrated to Pakistan he started his studies at P-Pilot Boys high School Digri. He went to Hyderabad for intermediate studies where he was the one who has been secured top grades in whole province from Public School Hyderabad. After college he went back to his home to prepare his self for the entry test of Medical Universities, but he wanted to get admission in Liaquat University of Medical Health and Sciences because it was the best medical institute and it was very much difficult to get admission in that university on merit. But he secured the best score in the test and selected on merit base. From the very young age he started giving tuitions so that he could bear his expenses because his father was not well off to pay for his expensive studies and he didn’t want take

The soldiers who were fighting for the sake of Pakistan’s safety.  That was the time of 1971 war when he served as a doctor captain. He contributed in the war as a dr (capt) with complete dedication as he is a pure patriot.
After the war ended up, he came back to his home and get retired from army. Not because he had reached to the age of retirement but because his father was died and he had to leave Army to take care of his mother by his self.
As being a kind, humble, generous and honest person he had always been the one who took care of his needy neighbors, educate the kids who belonged from lower class families who were not in the condition to pay their fees for education. He has admitted some poor kids in school and took their education fee responsibilities. Because he believes that
“The root cause of the destructive nation, is always the nation without education”
In the very young age of 30 years he constructed a hospital on his own. The very first hospital of Digri. He constructed that hospital by selling a land which was allotted to him by his father. The hospital was that time consisted of 100 beds named as Mehran Hospital where he has treated, many of people for free, who couldn’t afford the expensive treatments from other hospitals.
The hospital is now running by his two of the sons Dr Sajid khan KaimKhani and Dr Zahid Khan KaimKhani. Because he has now reached to the age of 70 and not able to treat patients, but his patients still comes to meet him to take his opinions and to take his prescribed medicines.
Dr Madad Ali Khan has recently been the Chairman Pakistan KaimKhani Education Trust and President KaimKhani Housing Society.
I haven’t ever seen, such a piety and generous person like Dr. Madad Ali Khan Kaimkhani.

Pleasures of Shopping at Latifabad Unit#8 Bazar

Whenever I am in need of variety of different things and can’t visit different markets because of the shortage of time I always decide to visit 8 Number Market, it satisfies all of my needs at once. whether its crockery shopping, home décor, imitation or gold jewellery, toys, kids clothing stuff, and ofcourse men and women clothing and even fruits.
And yes! how can I forget the most interesting yet the most entertaining part of this Market,
The shopkeepers and the way they deal with their customers is literally the best and often convincing and so my mother is no less she is having an immense lifetime experience of shopping from their whenever she ask for the price of any clothing stuff the shopkeeper tells 10 times increased price than it actually is, but what I think at that time is “uncle: you don’t know my mother! she is even more experienced than you think of her you can’t convince her in your choice of price lol”.

Once I recently went to buy some cooking pot along with my Mother and we visited almost 5 of the shops from 8 Number Market because we were not satisfying from any of them as Mothers are always not trying to look experienced but they actually are experienced and I observed this thing that day, when she asked a shopkeeper about the quality of the (bhagona) that is it stainless steel or not? she was trying to know that iron is mixed in it or not!
The shopkeeper replied: Yes Mam, it’s absolutely pure stainless steel and I bet you, you won’t get this quality in the whole Market.
My mother then asked for a magnet to test the pot.
Then the shopkeeper got a bit nervous because he realized that he can’t make the lady fool.
After a minute he came back along with a magnet and gave that to her.
My mother then touched the magnet to the pot and the magnet got sticked with the pot and I was impressed with my mother like wow, well played Mom! and after that she did the same thing with almost 3 of the shops and for the 4th time we finally got a pure stainless steel from a Crystal Care shop of Crockery and the only fixed price shop there.
They never leave behind the respect element but still they sometimes hypnotize us so we can’t deny of the good quality of the thing. Aunts always do the same thing that, after a long long session of observation and then choosing the best thing out of the stuff they begin to know the prize and then act like what? (itna mehnga! nai bhai nai) and end up buying the stuff in half of the price that the shopkeeper asked for and I really appreciate and already learning these shopping hacks.

Every bit of the Latifabad Kapra Bazar is definitely very unique and attractive in its own way, every shop connects with one another, the shopkeepers spend almost all of the day together they seems like a family and definitely I can see them helping each other too.
The best thing while shopping at Latifabad unit 8, is the samosa and chat houses, and I really enjoy having food there. And the quotation written on the wall of the samosa house narrating (The home where a Educated mother lives, is itself a School or University of humanity) and I am seeing this post from the very beginning and I always found this saying inspirational.
The Latifabad unit 8 Market is one of a kind because it has still all the old traditions that other Markets doesn’t have! Especially if one wants to make a wedding dress of their own choice like I do, so yes you can’t get any better option than this. It can satisfy your pocket and desire at the same time. So what can be better than that.

Once I recently went to buy a cooking pot along with my Mother and we visited almost 5 of the shops from 8 Number Market because we were not satisfying from any of them as Mothers are always not trying to look experienced but they actually are experienced and I observed this thing that day, when she asked a shopkeeper about the quality of the (bhagona) that is it stainless steel or not? she was trying to know that iron is mixed in it or not!
Although in the very long time of shopping experiences my mother hasn’t been through a bad experience expect for one time the last one was not bad I would only say it was an (experience). As we all know, not every men is same in the world but there are times when we often get to meet some liar, dishonest and vile person. And unfortunately my mother has gone through this type of experience its about 4 moths ago when my mother went to a bed sheet shop which is located on the main street of unit#8 Bazar and that street have almost 4 shops supplying the same products of bed sheets but it was the bad luck of her that she entered in the shop where a dishonest shopkeeper was about to deal with her, she hasn’t shop for bed sheets from unit# Bazar that is why she had no idea about those shops and their shopkeepers. She picked a sheet and asked for the cost of the sheet.
Shopkeeper replied: It costs rupees 800.
My mother then asked for concession and they made a deal of rupees 600 both were agreed upon the price. My mother asked for the stitching of the sheet. He said yes mam sure look we are having a tailor he will stitch this sheet, give it to me and if u have any other job to do in market u may go and your sheet will be ready in 15 minutes. My mother said okay because so many of shopkeepers deals the customers in same way he did. Because in this way customers manage their time.
Me and my Mother then came back after doing all the shopping we are supposed to do.
My mother asked for the sheet and opened her bag to pay him 50 rupees of stitching, but all of sudden, like out nowhere he replied: which sheet?
Me and my mother looked at eachother with  a whole wondering expression like what?  which sheet? are u serious? We were here before 20minutes and bought a sheet from you and we have even paid you the money. The shopkeeper then came to his reality and talked to us in a very harsh and arrogant way. He said: what’s wrong madam u haven’t buy any sheet from me. You may leave now, don’t waste my time I have so many other customers to deal with we asked the other man who was there when we were buying the sheet and was still there when we came back to pick the sheet. But he was as liar as his boss.
My mother then said: you are lying and you know that very well, God will ask you about it. I’ll see until when u are gonna show this wicked behavior over your customers I am not doing anything God will take the revenge himself.
This was definitely the first and I wish the last worst experience of shopping at unit #8 market.
All the other affairs of shopping at Unit#8 Bazar have been the best.

Although the ratio of honest and good shopkeepers is high than the dishonest ones. They never leave behind the respect element but still they sometimes hypnotize us so we can’t deny of the good quality of the thing. Aunts always do the same thing that, after a long long session of observation and then choosing the best thing out of the stuff they begin to know the prize and then act like what? Contentments [spelling]of Shopping at Unit#8 Bazar

Feature by : Bushra Fatima
BS-Roll 41

[[Hyderabad a well known city of Sindh Pakistan, is well known for its culture,  its rituals, its tombs, qilas, bazars, and what not.]] Not relevant focus is wording of shopkeepers.

Shopping is now, not just limited to needs but, it’s now a trend people used to do shopping to pass their  time, to pleasurize their selves it’s no doubt one of the most delightful activity to do, especially for women. Every city has its own famous market where people can get variety of stuff. People of   Hyderabad loves to shop from the kapra market [ if u are making it proper noun, write with Cap, otherwise translate in English] of unit 8. [Latifabad]
Whenever I am in need of variety of different things and can’t visit different markets because of the shortage of time I always decide to go for this market, it satisfies all of my needs at once. whether its crockery shopping, home décor, imitation or gold jewellery [mind spelling], toys for every age of kids, kids clothing stuff, and of course men and women clothing and kind of stuff and what’s not!
And yes! how can I forget the most interesting yet the most entertaining part of this bazar,

The shopkeepers and the way they deal with their customers is literally so perfect, they never leave behind the respect element but still they sometimes hypnotize us so we can’t deny of the good quality of the thing. Aunts always do the same thing that, after a long long session of observing and then choosing the best thing out of the bundles of the almost same stuff they begin to know the prize and then act like what? (itna mehnga! nai bhai nai) and then end up the conversation by buying the stuff in half of the price ask by the shopkeeper. And so I can’t ever stop myself of appreciating them aunties.
While the shopkeepers are no less whenever they see the customer is a young girl or boy or less experienced they always take some extra money on what they are selling because 90% of the young generation feel hesitate while asking for bargaining and I am not appreciating it all, buying stuff in the actual or atleast in a appropriate price is definitely our right, we shouldn’t hesitate.

One more entertaining thing in 8# market are the quotations written on the banners outside of almost every shop, and that’s the most eye catching thing yet sometimes quite funny.
[What are they? write it] Every bit of the kapra bazar is definitely very unique and beautiful in its own way, every of the shop connects with one another, the shopkeepers spend almost all of the day together they seems like a family and definitely we can see them helping each other.
The best thing of shopping at unit 8 is the samosa and chat hoses, As there are 3 of them and every single of them has their own different delicious taste and people of Hyderabad loved it. The chat houses are always full because almost every of the customer visit it after all the shopping done or some visit it before, so the food can be digested while shopping and they can do shopping more actively.
The unit 8 is one of a kind because it has still all the old traditions that other markets doesn’t have!
I always have the best experience to shop  from  there. Especially if one wants to make a wedding dress of their own choice like I do, so yes you can’t get any better option than this. It can satisfy your pocket and desire at the same time. So what can be better than that.

Why We Want Things We Don’t Need?
  Article
Bushra Fatima
BS 41
Do you ever think that why we are always in want of things we actually don’t need?
like if we “need” to eat in order to live. But what to eat leans toward “want” if we desire for pizza inspite of the food available in home that’s a want . If someone wants a car for a daily convience what gets them in trouble is the “type” of the car they want. We can ultimately satisfy our needs neither wants. And those things ultimately turns up into our needs, because we think that we can’t survive without having that stuff or not having that thing would make our standards lower. Desires are limitless we can’t ever fulfill one’s desires because wants are boundless.
Science says that 98% of people die without fulfilling their dreams. Matt valentine has given a brief description on it, in his book “How To Follow Your Heart and Live Your Personal Legend”.
In Pakistan people are busy competing each other they are busy in thinking what other people have and what they haven’t. As we can see the Pakistani weddings these days,it’s a clear picture of competition Parents are bound to give their daughters a complete dowry and a lavish wedding events parents are spending a high budget or it would not be wrong if I say that, they are spending their whole of the savings on weddings nowadays just to make the society satisfy, just to make their psyche satisfy and just to make their wants satisfy .Although 70% of the families in Pakistan cannot afford such expenses but inspite of that they are doing so, just because it’s a part of a marriage these days, but its not the Pakistani culture we are adapting  other’s culture these events are not an obligations for muslims or Pakistanis its not a part of our culture but we have made it a part of culture and that’s getting a root cause for most of the Pakistani families  depression. Nobody is stepping forward to make these stereotypes stop now.

Unlimited wants and needs, means people never get enough of what they have. There is always something else that they would like to have.
We have to keep a thing in mind that its not necessary to heir a couple of photographers one can be enough though, there’s no need to put down a bundle of food items, no need to put on the overpriced dresses, no need to heir an event manager. If we once think about these things wisely we will get to know that these traditions or conventions doesn’t actually make any sense.

Why we are getting our selves troubled? if we can do the same thing simply. Wedding is not a thing to worry about it’s a beautiful ritual and we can make it happen while keeping it simple and to be very honest, if one would take a step forward then many of the issues can be resolved.
But as we have increased the wants of unnecessities in our lives, variety of issues are having birth. We should focus on things which are necessary to do rather than thinking of what other people do.

It is too general, nothing is current, relevant, otherwise it is essay type.

Why We Want Things We Don’t Need?

                                        Bushra Fatima

Do you ever think that why we are always in want of things we actually don’t need?
For example we “need” to eat in order to live.
Matt valentine has given a brief description on it in his book “How To Follow Your Heart and Live Your Personal Legend”.
In Pakistan people are busy competing each other they are busy in thinking what other people have and what they haven’t, rather than thinking do they need that or just want that thing? This particular thought of not having their wants attained the whole of the families are being frustrating they are having behavioral changes, tantrums issue and making their lives 10 times harder than it is in real. In most of the Pakistani families the number of person who earns is 1 and if his wage is just enough to make a hand to mouth system in his house then what would he do to satisfy his family’s wants ? He will definitely get himself in trouble and will get another job or extend his office hours. That is the time when the family gets disturbed children are not getting the time they deserve and the wife may get a job too so they can admit their children in a top school give them all the gadets they want without thinking whether its good or bad for their kids or is their kids are young enough to have this stuff? NO parents now a days don’t think about what their kids needs but what their kids wants so that they can fit into the society.

I went through a real life story of a happily married couple and they ended breaking up just because of the girl’s never ending demands. She belonged to a middle class family and was dreaming to attain all her aspirations come true after marriage instead of knowing that her life partner which she had decided to marry herself was not rich enough to meet her demands. She never thought maturely that her husband is comforting her with  fulfilling all her needs and sometimes wants too but inspite of that she was being frustrating in wanting more and more because she always looks at the upper class of the society she always asked her husband to get her a new designer dress in every other wedding, traveling plans, gym membership, expensive outings twice in a week  without realizing that her ocean of wishes is drowning his married life in trouble and in result of that they once broke up just because she said: My husband is not satisfying my wants!
Unlimited wants and needs, means people never get enough of what they have. There is always something else that they would like to have.
As we have increased the wants of unnecessities in our lives, variety of issues are taking birth. We should focus on things we have rather than thinking of what we don’t have. The day when we start counting the blessings of our lives  it would be very easy to live happily with what you are given with.
