The lower Sindh better known as Laar, the region has its own taste and accent of Sindhi language. Many poets and intellectuals were born over there. Mir Kaloi, 35, is a new brick of the wall of this sequence. Mir is a poet but also a writer, he has written three books including one poetry collection and two novels up to now. Poetry collection published in 2015, while novels are under process and near to be published.
Traveling through a road between lush green crops of wheat rice and grass, I reached Malkani, a small town of Taluka Tando Bago district Badin to meet him, where he was born in 1985 and grew up. He earned respect and affection in the region and beyond through his attractive and melancholic poetry. People urge him to be host of
public gatherings and programs owing to his attractive accent and manner of reciting poetry, for which he is also paid.
The real name of Mir kaloi is Muhammad Ali Kaloi, he said “My mother calls me Mir in affection now this name is my identity”.
He has also worked on FM 109 radio Pakistan
for a long period, but owing to some domestic problems he left the radio. As he said “I have been intensely fond of Radio since my childhood”.
He believes one can not write effective poetry until he/she is not passed through melancholic  situations and sustains the pain. He added “ I have mentioned beauty, Sindh, and my painful stories to some extent in my first published book of poetry collection namely Nigah tuhanji pannah muhanji (Your sight, mine penitence).
His novel which is still unpublished namely Ounjh  (Thirst) is a story about a couple separated by societal and economical problems.
He also believes being a poet or writer is a responsibility to enumerate and prevent social problems through his/her art”.
It was remarkable, as he mentioned about his aim and offspring. He said “I do not need familiarity but It is a desire that people remember me in good words”. As he  added about his offspring, “Whatever my progeny has a desire to be, but I want to see them as humanists”.
Muzamil,  a student of intermediate from the neighbouring village of Mir Kaloi who is interested in literature. He said “Mir kaloi is inspiration for us, and also a source of tendency towards literature and books”.
Although he started writing in 1996, until now he has written three books, it is an interesting thing to know without being a graduate ha has written three books.
In his first published poetry collection he has written ghazals, poems, and songs which are sung by eminent singers including Allah Dino Junejo, Faqeer Habeebullah, Khushbo Laghari, Sodho Jogi, Aslam Faqeer, and other singers.
In Sindhi language his favourite poet is Ustaad Bukhari, while in Urdu he is inspired from the Allama Iqbal and Faiz Ahmed.
Expressing his nature he said “I do not like ego and self-center style of living, but I love to spend life humbly and affectionately.
His thoughts abou youth were also inspiring as he said “adulthood is golden age, younger ones should utilize their time and energy in education and helping deserves rather than wasting it.
Similarly, many intellectuals, poets, and writers emerge in society who could not afford to study in metropolitan cities but they do not give up their affection with education and books and provide their intellectuality in the form of books. But unfortunately, they are degraded by social, political and religious norms.
