Thar is a unique and vibrant part of Sindh. Some define it as the land of peace and peacocks. And some define it as traditional colors of peace in the form of cultural handmade stuff. all in their place but Hardships and harmony of Thar is difficult to understand unless people pay their visit to Thar, sitting in luxury life could not help to figure out the lifestyle of people of Thar. and how they manage travel of miles and kilometers to get water from well, depth of 150-250 feet pulling the rope with the help of Camels.

Thar is a remote area of Sindh, when it rains people make most from their lands and their cattle's, but not every time. they do suffer rest of the year even they suffer a lot when there is famine. however, their working women help them out through their creative work of traditional stuff like rallies, Gaaj (traditional bridal dress)

Every morning women from Thar travels about kilometers and collect water for daily household  use,  they have difficult day around looking after house business taking care of Childrens  despite the hard life they manage to take time, sit together under the shadow of large tree and start their talent of sewing, colorful art in form of "Rallies"  number of women sits together they chat with each other sometimes they sung together sometimes  they do teach their sisters and daughters.

Small pieces of colorful clothes are joined together and form Ralli, it is all covered with a Niddle and thread hand stitched materials. Thari women make beautiful Designs of Ralli which has its own value in Sindh and all over in the country.

Rallis are commonly used as a covering for wooden sleeping cots, as a floor covering, storage bag,   Ralli quilts are an important part of a girl's dowry. Owning many Ralli quilts is a measure of wealth.

Design and patterns of Ralli varies with the change in area like Tharparkar is famous in Joggian ji Ralli, and Meghwaran Ji Ralli have exclusive patterns, In central Sindh Khairpur Sakhar Mehran ji ralli have prime importance, around Manchar lack Kaache ji Ralli, specially of Thari Ralli have designs of peacocks moon elephant and parrot.

Working women sell Rallis in the moment of crisis when they are only source to help her husband out from the famine and misery, they better become the supportive hand for their men they do sell their creative work.

They work hard for months or even years to make a single quilt ( Ralli ) but they hardly paid of their work  the more expensive they could sell about thirty to forty thousand per product Ralli.  when it reaches in the market, they take about 2 lacs sometimes even more.

In contempt of these issues women from Thar are happy to get enough to survive beyond this their men's support make them confident to work for it. Even poets have sung them many times in regard this perspective of making rallies. Subedar Muhnji Ralli , Jamadar Muhnji Ralli. many poets have sung the efforts of working women of Thar specially shaikh Ayaz have shown effective love towards Thar he said;

  Tati Main Gharo Ka Bhare Thi Pei,

  Thari Soonh Chamka Kare Thi Pei
