Lack of self-awareness can put people in such states like suicide and the suicide rate is higher among youth. Suicide among Pakistani students is on the rise as recently 4 students committed suicide last year in Chitral. Suicides and mental health, in general, have never been taken seriously and the issue of student suicides remains without any research to understand its cause. Why students commit suicide? Is it about their miserable life? They choose death over a troubled life because parents expect too much or the intense pain of public humiliation. Pakistani society works like this, they degrade a person on the basis of the appearances or wealth and this is pushing them towards death and agony. See this is how self-awareness is an important part of our life. We don’t know how to trigger it or to control our unconscious mind.
Between 6 to 8 percent of college students report devouring serious miserable thoughts but only around 1 percent of them actually attempt suicide each year. According to a report, 1,100 college students commit suicide each year.

Being realistic is the hardest thing one can do but it can make you meet the true and real side of the world. There is always hope, nothing ends undone. People want examples and experiences of other people to relate and this gives them hope that the misery shall end soon.
In Pakistan, there should be campaigning for more and more motivational sessions and self-awareness among adults and youth. Half of the youth suffer from parental expectations and the path they choose for them. Favoritism and comparing with other children can also cause a lack of confidence after then children build that state of self-awareness in which they always feel like pleasing or to be good for family’s love and support. People are not aware of the power of confidence and how it works on human psychology. The conscious brain of people will adopt the only things we will feed by ourselves.

Self-awareness is a state when you are intermingling with your true self, your cognizant state. Sometimes we do isolated things to ignore our feelings because we don’t want to deal with them and that’s when our conscious mind starts flinching and controlling us.
The youth is going through some hard-hitting time of self-consciousness and it's putting them in misery. Self-awareness is categorized in two parts external self-awareness in which we trigger our self to become conscious about our physical state and start thinking of ourselves as how people look at us and the other category is internal self-awareness which signifies how undoubtedly we see our own beliefs, passions, ambitions, fit with our environment, reactions (including thoughts, feelings, behaviors, strengths, and weaknesses), and impact on others. The negative influence of internal self-awareness can be fretfulness, depression and overthinking about all the moods and thoughts we are having.
There are different levels of self-awareness. Everyone has their own comfort zone and their gratification level is different. For example, limited people are so controlling about their conscious self they don’t need any opinions or facts from anyone and this can cause them a huge failure. They are on high internal but low external self-awareness states. The other people fit into this state which knows who they actually are and they value other people’s sentiments, they are the only one who is recognized as bests they are undeniably self-aware individuals and they know how to equilibrium and switch the human conscious mind. They are on highly external and internal self-awareness states. The other state comprises the group of individuals they don’t distinguish their resolution in life, constantly exasperated, they might always sense trapped in the trauma and they are afraid of taking decisions and taking risks. They are on low external and internal self-awareness states. The last group of individuals who are constantly anxious about how might they guise in other people’s judgments and they are always sustaining and pleasing other individuals and this is the state when you sense a durable itch to lie to look worthy in the eyes of people. This stretches an unusual satisfaction that now people nearby you truly like you and then you cultivate a practice of lying and you don’t feel slight guilt on doing it. In some positions, they make choices that are no more beneficial for them but for others. They are on low internal but high external self-awareness states.

Sometimes we do things which are not supposed to be done or we don’t feel right doing it. We live in a society we do things in peer pressure or just for people to like us more. We expect the world to treat us better but the fact is that no one is going to treat you better unless you show them that you are better.
Being realistic is the hardest thing one can do but it can make you meet the true and real side of the world. There is always hope, nothing ends undone. People want examples and experiences of other people to relate and this gives them hope that the misery shall end soon. One should start feeling comfort in own skin and accept the reality of being poor, uglier or ordinary. Self-pity can vanish your existence but hope can give you a light for the betterment ahead.
