Educationist of New-Chor- Poonjraaj Kesraani.

Area where water meets with the sand, which creates artistic combination ever. Chor-waah of New-Chore interacts with Sandy area of Thar arresting the background of Thar and Sindh togather,
Poonraj kesraani opened his eye from that beautiful part which has glimpse of
Thar and Sindh togather. in June 2, 1952.
New Chor may have many role models but Poonjraj Kesraani of 68 have gigantic role in the area . He has been retired from government job in 2013. But being immense love with teaching he still provide his services in private school by teaching students. Number of his students from small town of New-Chore reached to the elite positions throughout the country and foreign also. His more than 36 student are working in foreign at different positions.
Kesraani served society for 42 years in Nobel profession like teaching, his primary education remained kilometers away from his home in Heveli. Where he completed his primary education.
Telling his era’s hardship he said "our time was golden when I was school boy I remember my teachers were so dedicated, they used to teach us without any importunity. Even when we walk miles away from our homes to the school our teacher’s wife used to serve us glass of water first and then teacher start teaching us. even when it is dark teacher spend his own money to buy fuel for Laltain (flicker hive). We can never forget those positive efforts of our beloved teacher which inclined my Love towards Nobel profession"
He remained sub-divisional officer (male) in taluka Umerkot ( district Nowadays) for couple of years. Also He managed educational post at Sanghar district for adult education program in new Roshni school, He remained inn charge district education officer at Umerkot district, later he become Subject specialist in English, He retired in BPS 18.
It is fact that one who thinks for betterment of the society, Almighty open gates of wisdom for their offsprings. This is how his 3 sons and 4 daughters are rich in education ornaments.
Two of his sons Jaidev Kesraani and Madan Kesraani are Doctors -Jaidev paying his services in USA- and one son Rajesh Kesrani is Engineer. two of his daughters are teachers and one is Doctor. He was the first man from the minorities in the town who send his daughters to the school first.
He as a writer
Poonraaj is writer too, to promote teaching techniques he wrote his two books on different topics self development and professional development.
"Jurya Raho Jaag Main" ( self development)
And "A cup of tea for teachers" for professional development he wrote 101 methods of teaching. which is being published in English by Roshni publisher
He wrote his travelogue of his recently visit in USA "New-Chor to the New York.
His book "Jurya Raho Jaag Main" was such favoured by Mehmood Mughal , with his efforts book points becomes part of Kawish newspaper gallery under theme of Suheni Salah for months.
