A TRIP TO RANI KOT FORT

One night trip to the world largest fort, Rani kot was planned by me and my friends.

Rani kot is one of the beautiful historical attractions of Pakistan. It’s the largest unexplored fort in the world.

It’s about 90 kilometers to the North of Hyderabad.

We departed from Hyderabad and head to Sann a little town in Jamshoro district through the Indus Highway, the road was in good condition and the drive was very enjoyable.

We arrived “Sann” just a few kilometers there comes a diversion. There was a sign shows that “Rani kot “ is 13 kilometers away. We headed along the link road that was in a very poor condition. We finally reached at the “Sann Gate “ as they call it.

We were amazed when we saw the mysterious structure of Rani kot.

it’s length is about 13 kilometers. The wall was so high and huge. Rani kot is surrounded by 4 gates. The entrance gate is “Sann gate”the western gate is named “mohan kot” and on the north side there’s “Amri gate”and Shah pir gate is on the south. There are 3 mini kots in Rani kot. 1 Meri kot 2 sher garh kot 3 Mohan kot.

A little distance from “Sann gate” A tomb shaped room is constructed it is known as gun powder keeping room, according to the researchers it is a worship place.We climbed the both sides to the peak of the fortess and saw a great view from the top.we wanted to explore more about Rani kot so we head to meri kot, the road is constructed to reach meri kot, it’s about 3 kilometers it will take little time if the uncomplicated bridge was built. We reached meri kot and there was a rest house so  we decided to take tea and relax a little bit.

The construction of meri kot seems like it is built for luxury residence. The artwork done on the walls of merikot shows that it was resident of an king of that time some people believe that meri kot was a military condiment. There is a wide balcony at the entrance of meri kot and a well exists at west side of the balcony. The well is empty, but it is believed it was for drinking water at that time. Meri kot has unique stones and well designed walls with holes drilled in it in order to keep eyes on enemies of that time. When you take a look from meri kot to outside you will see amazing green fields. Many tourists come to meri kot and spend time in the rest house.A few meters away from meri kot there is fountain called “'Parryen jo Tarru' (the spring of fairies).

There is a tale told by villagers they believe that ferries come here in the spring when the moon is full they take a bath.

We went there and had a great time. It’s an amazing point in Rani kot. We wanted to explore more about Rani kot but time was short and it was almost dawn.Rani kot is located where there is no existence of any thing.we asked the villagers about it’s history they told us that there is no any authentic history available on Rani kot thousands of research but no such clue why it is built and who built it and for what purpose the reason is still unknown. Some says that it built by Talpur Mirs of sindh and other said it is the Arabs who built it.

Rani kot needs attention by the government it will increase our tourism rate. There is no restaurant no facilities to be found.

The  beauty of Rani kot is unique and fabulous I truly recommend every one to visit it and have a great experience.

ذوق علم کی جستجو میں کالج کی تعلیم مکمل ہونے کے بعد ہی  یونیورسٹی میں داخلے کا احساس گدُگدایا۔ اس لیے میں نے اپنے دوست  کے ہمراہ جامعہ سندھ کا  فارم جمع کروادیا۔ فارم جمع کرواتے وقت  میرے  زہین  بہت سے خیالات جنم لے رہے تھے۔کہ کیا میرا منتخب شعبہ مجھے ملاگا بھی یا نہیں۔اس  وسوسوں (Dilemma)  کی حالت  میں کچھ دن گزارنے کے بعد  اپنے دماغ کو اس بات پر منوانے میں آمدہ ہوگیا۔کہ انسان  کسی حال میں خوش نہیں رہتا۔ یہی وہ وقت تھا جب میں نے خود کو سمجھایا۔کہ آرزو تو انسان کی فطرت ہے۔ دنیا میں ہر اچھی چیز پر کمپیٹشن کیئے جاتے ہیں۔  لیکن ہم جو مل گیا اسے اچھا بنا نے کی کوشش نہیں کرتے۔ ٹیسٹ پاس کرنے کے بعد  مجھے  شعبہ   ماس کمیونیکشن ملا۔ جس میں میری دلچسپی نہ ہونے کے برابر تھی۔ جامعہ سند ھ  جنگ و جدال کے نام سے بہت مشہور تھی۔ سنیئر بلال وسیم کا کہنا تھا۔کہ آج سے  ۳ سال قبل ہم پہلے دن  اسے کھڑے نہیں ہو سکتے تھے۔ کامریڈی کا دور دورہ  تھا۔ طالب علم یہاں  بہت مشکل سے پنپتے نظر آتے تھے۔ لیکن  ہمارا یونیورسٹی کا پہلا دن تھا اور ہم سنیئرز کے ساتھ کھڑے سیلفی لے رہے تھے۔کیونکہ جامعہ سندھ بدل چکی تھی۔  وقت کی تیز گام  رفتار نے   زندگی وہ قیمتی پلوں کو ایک خوبصورت یاد بنادیا ہ۔ ہم  یونیورسٹی  کے ہر شعبہ کا دورہ کرتے اور اُن پل کو بھی تصویر میں قید کرلتے تھے۔ جامعہ سندھ  ایک شہر کی مانند تھی۔ جیسے ایک وسیع رقبے پر شہر آباد ہوتا ہے۔ جہاں  گیم کھیلنے سے لے کر دنیا کی نت نئی اجادات سے روشناس  کروانے والے شعبے موجود ہیں۔ یہاں پر سندھ کی ثقافتی  آجائب بھی موجود ہیں۔قدیم  تہذیب و تمدن سے آشنا کرانے کے لیے شعبہ بھی موجود ہے۔یونیورسٹی میں  گاون  پہنے  نائب ڈاکٹر بھی نظر آتے ہیں۔ جامعہ سندھ ۵۵ گھر والے شہر  کی مانند ہے۔

Many of taste goods becomes the identity of Hyderabad , here is a famous and oldest bakery in Hyderabad which was become a most famous bakery in Pakistan “ The Bombay Bakery ’’

ecause of its Taste and the maintenance  of Quality of Cake , antecedent they had a different timings of cake and while take a short break in Bakery’s timing which was a different thing.

        The History Of This Famous Bakery was known all over Hyderabad, This Bakery belongs to Thadani’s  Family it was a family run business and the bakery was more than 100 years old and established in 1911 by Mr. pahlajrai Gangaram Thadani , he was a first owner of this bakery and build a modest bakery in his times in the area of sadder cant ,Hyderabad Sindh. Because of its continues effort persistent and persuasive approach cantonment authority granted him permission to build the bakery on its current location and its was completed in 1924.

From the start and beginning the current building was planned and designed by him as a Bakery-In-Bungalow. He moved in with his family of 3 sons ( Shamdas, Kishinchand and Gopichand ). The Bakery established itself for the production of high quality confectionery and bakery items such as bread, biscuits , cakes etc. Pahlajrai along with his 3 sons and the help of reliable employees developed a reputation by using genuine and authentic ingredients in their products.

                   

Mr.Pahlajrai was died in 1948 , After his death his sons continue to run the bakery. The kishinchand Thadani with his creative and innovative approach , he developed the delicious recipes for a great variety of Cakes and Biscuits, which are used even today. After Kishinchand’s death in 1960, Gopichand and KIshinchand’s Son Kumar continued to take care of the bakery.

     Kumar Thadani, was a great philanthropist and a perfectionist. He continued to maintain the High Quality of bakery items and the standard which his elders was established. He was very charismatic and social and the business really flourished under his care, people and his employees always said that he was a great personality. When he passed away in june 2010, a great many people mourned his death because he was an amazing personality.

          After his death the bakery passed on to his family and is currently run by his son sonu

The Bombay Bakery Is renowned as one of the best bakers in the world. Their most famous cakes are coffee cake and Macaron cake.

This Bakery’s items has a different and packaging than any other , there boxes was not colorful as other bakeries cake boxes they had a simple white box which was packed with green ribbon to tie and the most different and unique thing of their boxes is they print there business history inside the box

This Bakery was currently handed to their 4^th Generation . The Taste and Quality of the cakes and biscuits were uphold, this was a main cause of this bakery fame and its taste was liked not only in Pakistan but also other countries . if you are visiting this is a great place to stop for try the cake or to take home with you for friends and family .

   

There is always a huge queue and if you want cake for any occasion or for friends and family you have to go well before time otherwise these cakes sell fast.

The main thing which was plays a vital role in this bakery was staff. The staff told some other and rare things about them, that their owner never hire a new person for their house and bakery they naver had any new face in their staff. The staff which was hired by Mr.Pahlajrai Thadani was worked in this bakery and after them their generations were work for them, and the current staff was a generation of those staff who were hired in the beginning of the bakery.

                  According to people they loved their bakery’s taste that is why they faced that crowd of other customers and queue , all the customers had known their taste and they take many cakes along with them for guests , family , occasion and friends , majority of the customers were their old customers.

  

      The maintenance and the continues same and great quality of Cakes and Biscuits make this bakery famous and renowned and made The Bombay Bakery as one of the best bakers in the world.
