A TRIP TO RANI KOT FORT

By:YAHYA ALI
Roll: 2k17 /MC /160

One night trip to the world largest fort, Rani kot was planned by me and my friends.
Rani kot is one of the beautiful historical attractions of Pakistan. It’s the largest unexplored fort in the world.
It’s about 90 kilometers to the North of Hyderabad.
We departed from Hyderabad and head to Sann a little town in Jamshoro district through the Indus Highway, the road was in good condition and the drive was very enjoyable.
We arrived “Sann” just a few kilometers there comes a diversion. There was a sign shows that “Rani kot “ is 13 kilometers away. We headed along the link road that was in a very poor condition. We finally reached at the “Sann Gate “ as they call it.
We were amazed when we saw the mysterious structure of Rani kot.
it’s length is about 13 kilometers. The wall was so high and huge. Rani kot is surrounded by 4 gates. The entrance gate is “Sann gate”the western gate is named “mohan kot” and on the north side there’s “Amri gate”and Shah pir gate is on the south. There are 3 mini kots in Rani kot. 1 Meri kot 2 sher garh kot 3 Mohan kot.
A little distance from “Sann gate” A tomb shaped room is constructed it is known as gun powder keeping room, according to the researchers it is a worship place. We climbed the both sides to the peak of the fortess and saw a great view from the top.we wanted to explore more about Rani kot so we head to meri kot, the road is constructed to reach meri kot, it’s about 3 kilometers it will take little time if the uncomplicated bridge was built. We reached meri kot and there was a rest house so  we decided to take tea and relax a little bit.
The construction of meri kot seems like it is built for luxury residence. The artwork done on the walls of merikot shows that it was resident of an king of that time some people believe that meri kot was a military condiment. There is a wide balcony at the entrance of meri kot and a well exists at west side of the balcony. The well is empty, but it is believed it was for drinking water at that time. Meri kot has unique stones and well designed walls with holes drilled in it in order to keep eyes on enemies of that time. When you take a look from meri kot to outside you will see amazing green fields. Many tourists come to meri kot and spend time in the rest house.A few meters away from meri kot there is fountain called “'Parryen jo Tarru' (the spring of fairies).
There is a tale told by villagers they believe that ferries come here in the spring when the moon is full they take a bath.
We went there and had a great time. It’s an amazing point in Rani kot. We wanted to explore more about Rani kot but time was short and it was almost dawn.Rani kot is located where there is no existence of any thing.we asked the villagers about it’s history they told us that there is no any authentic history available on Rani kot thousands of research but no such clue why it is built and who built it and for what purpose the reason is still unknown. Some says that it built by Talpur Mirs of sindh and other said it is the Arabs who built it.
Rani kot needs attention by the government it will increase our tourism rate. There is no restaurant no facilities to be found.
The  beauty of Rani kot is unique and fabulous I truly recommend every one to visit it and have a great experience.

“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”
Teaching someone a skill that can be helpful for him his entire life is a debt that can not be payed back. Teachers whatsoever teaches is one of the greatest contributions he can make for society. He teaches them to convert pressure into motivation and to be able to face any matter comes to their life. We learn through them not to give up and move on no matter what. They listen to us when we are in trouble, guide us to the right path. They believe in us more than we do. Their sacrifice and patience inspire and encourage us to be a successful person. Teachers use themselves as bridges for students to cross to the other side.

16/oct/1953 A great teacher was born. Who despite of poverty and tough situations in his life he never throw in the towel.
When he turned 5 years old got his admission in the primary school. In 1964 he went to the Pilot school and got his matric certificate. He left school due to lack of money. His parents passed away at his young age even though he was struggling to achieve his goal. He worked for 5 years so that he could pay for his admission in college.
In 1972 he got the 2nd position in board examinations. He still got financial problems so he had to work again to get his bachelor’s degree of B.AD from Sindh University Hyderabad.
After passing intermediate he qualified the test of HST and became a government servant, even his age was 3 months less than 18 years old so he was not able to being a government servant for the purpose of the age. So he left his duty. He was desperate hopeless but still was struggling One day he was working in a shop and a person came and that person was the director if education department. He knew that he was posted a teacher he asked him the problem of his leaving his duty,he told him everything then the man was a blessing sent to him by God,so he again was posted as a teacher at Thatta. At that time he was  able to to be a government servant. Because then he turned 18 years old.

While performing his job he still wanted to qualify the CSS examination so he worked hard day and night in order to achieve his aim of his life. He tried not only once, twice but also thrice and at the 3rd time he qualified the test, but unfortunately he couldn’t become a CSS officer due to an unknown reason.

After that he got posted in Dadu city and got retired in 2013 at the age of 60 years old. He did not sit at home after his retirement he thought to open an English grammar center to teach the new coming generation. He now has a great experience in teaching. So many students are officers in several departments In different cities and also in Pakistan some students achieved their goals in life they says that sir Azhar has a great way of teaching and making students motivated to work hard for their goals in life.they also said that sir Azhar says “if any thing stopping you from reaching your goals it will be you only you” they also said that where we are now in this position it’s only because of this great personality Sir Azhar Hussein Charan.

The term Pakistani clothing refers to the ethnic clothing that is typically worn by individuals in the country of Pakistan and by the People of Pakistani descent. Pakistani clothes express the Culture of Pakistan, the Demographics of Pakistan and regional Cultures which include Punjabi culture, Sindhi culture, Balochi culture, Pashtun culture and Kashmiri culture. Dresses in each regional culture reflect weather conditions, the way of living and the distinctive style which gives it a unique identity across all cultures.
Pakistani dressing has similarities with Indian dressing because of pre-partition culture which was shared by these nations for thousands of years. Traditional Pakistani dressing also shares similarities between the ethnic groups of central Asia and ethnicities of the Iranian plateau such as the Turkic ethnic groups (i.e. Kazakhs, Uzbeks, Turkmens) and Iranian ethnic groups (Tajiks, Khorasani Persians and Pashtoons), that have been separate from the cultures of modern day Pakistan during the Durand agreement between Afghanistan and the British raj. With the passage of time Pakistanis are adapting modern dress and cultural clothing, especially in big countries.
The shalwar kameez is the national dress of Pakistan and is worn by men and women in all four provinces Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa and FATA in the country and in Azad Kashmir. Each province has its own style of wearing the Shalwar Qameez. Pakistanis wear various clothing depending on the colors and the type of fabric (silk, chiffon, cotton, etc.).
Men across Pakistan prefer shalwar kameez with some additional accessories which include Pakistani Waistcoat, Achkan and Sherwani with the shalwar kameez or with Churidar Pajama. Jinnah Cap also called Karakul, Fez also called Rumi Topi and Taqiyah (cap) is used with Shalwar Kameez. Khussa is a popular foot wear with shalwar kameez. Men like to wear traditional shawls made of Pashmina or other warm materials, especially in Northern part of the country.
With regional clothing, Balochi women wear heavy embroidered Shalwar Kameez and Dupatta depending on the weather conditions. They wear Kameez full of heavy Embroided Shisha work. Sindhi costumes have different styles of embroidery and some women use Ajrak as Dupatta. these women also wear bangles in their traditional way. Punjabi women prefer light embroidery on simple Shalwar Kameez or Kurta. Traditional Lacha and Bangles are also used. Paranda is the traditional, colorful and unique Punjabi item which is used to tie hair. Pathan women wear embroided Kameez with a farak with a heavy Dupatta. Kashmiri phiran style kameez has heavy embroidery on the front neck of the kameez and is often made of wool.

WOMEN DRESSES

With women's religious clothing, it’s aimed to cover all their body parts except face and hands when going outside from their home. Most women will cover their heads with Dupatta or Chadar when outside, but religious women prefer to wear a Scarf, Burqa or Hijab with long full sleeve shirts.
With the passage of time Pakistani women have started to adapt new styles some of which are the combination of Pakistani and Western clothing. Like women wear Embroided Kurta with Jeans and Trousers. Tight half sleeve and sleeveless shirts with Capri Trousers have also been adopted.
